Champagne Number 1, known today as Krug Grande Cuvée, is the most complete expression of Champagne, recreated every year, regardless of annual climatic variations. Krug Grande Cuvée is a blend of over 120 different wines from over 10 different years.
The blending of so many wines from different vintages results in a fullness of flavours and aromas that would be impossible to express with wines from just one vintage. It is a complete orchestra playing in harmony.
