Food pairing
Description
This wine combines approximately 98% Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) with traces of Albillo Mayor and Garnacha Tinta from old vines and high-altitude vineyards. The harvest is carried out by hand between late September and mid-October, followed by gentle fermentation and maceration at 18°C for two weeks in 15,000 kg vats. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 12 months in oak containers of various sizes, from 225 L barrels to 600 L bocoyes and large vats. Finally, it rests in the bottle before being released to the market.
With an alcohol content of 15% ABV, Bardos Viñedos de Altura 2023 reflects the extreme climate, altitude, and character of the Soria terroir with elegance; a wine that conveys the identity of an extreme area of Ribera del Duero through artisanal and respectful winemaking.
