Tasting notes
Nose
Intense and elegant, notes of red and black fruits (fresh plums and cherries). There are sweet fine spices in the range of cinnamon and cloves.
Palate
Fresh and enveloping, very fruity and with memories of cherries. The tannins are fine and silky with a long and persistent finish.
Serving temperature
16 - 18ºC.
Description
Roda I Reserva wine is made with grapes harvested from various vineyards spread between the Rioja town of Haro and surrounding villages.
These farms have plants that are between 30-35 years old and poor soils with a high content of clay and lime.
Aged for 16 months. After aging, the wine is clarified (by adding egg white) and bottled.
