D.O. Madrid White
D.O. Vinos de Madrid, which extends across the Comunidad de Madrid in the subzones of Arganda, Navalcarnero, San Martín de Valdeiglesias and El Molar, also produces white wines with a personality of their own.
Its whites are made mainly from the Malvar, Albillo Real and Airén varieties. Malvar, typical of the Arganda subzone, gives fresh and fruity wines, while Albillo Real, closely linked to San Martín de Valdeiglesias, offers aromatic, rich whites with a fine expression of terroir.
You will find everything from young, fresh and light whites to oak-aged or barrel-fermented whites with more body and complexity.
